France’s Dunkirk LNG import terminal, the country’s fourth regasification facility, received its first cargo for this year, according to Dunkerque LNG, the terminal operator.

The Arctic Lady with the capacity to transport 148,000 cubic meters of LNG delivered a cargo to the facility from Statoil’s Hammerfest plant in Norway on January 8.

This is the French terminal’s tenth commercial cargo since it officially began operations on January 1 last year.

Dunkerque LNG, the terminal operator, is 65 percent owned by France’s EDF, 25 percent by Belgium’s Fluxys and 10 percent by French Total.
