Gazprom, Vietnam Sign LNG MoU

Gazprom Marketing and Trading Singapore, a unit of Russia’s Gazprom and PetroVietnam have signed a memorandum of understanding on deliveries of Russian LNG to Vietnam, Gazprom said in a statement.

The MoU was signed yesterday during a visit by Truong Tan Sang, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Gazprom headquarters in Moscow.

“The meeting paid special attention to the prospects for possible Russian liquefied natural gas  (LNG) supplies to Vietnam. In the course of the meeting, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding took place.

The Memorandum covers the LNG supply cooperation between Gazprom Marketing & Trading and Petrovietnam Gas, a Vietnamese Joint Stock Corporation,” Gazprom said.
