IHI Completes Two Kochi LNG Storage Tanks

IHI Corp. of Japan said it has completed two LNG storage tanks at Petronet’s Kochi LNG terminal in Kerala state, India.

The two LNG storage tanks have a capacity of 160,000 m3 each.

Petronet LNG, India’s largest LNG importer recently said that its Kochi terminal will be commissioned by the first quarter of 2013.

The terminal is located on a 40ha site in the Puthuvype special economic zone and will have a capacity of five million tons per annum.
