First Transshipment from Montoir LNG Terminal, France

First Transshipment from Montoir LNG Terminal

From its LNG terminal at Montoir-de-Bretagne, Elengy and Nantes Saint-Nazaire Port have operated on august 7th their first transshipment operation, service proposed since july 2013.

This one occurred safely between the LNG tankers Ben Badis (177,000m3 capacity) and the LNG Gemini (126,000m3 capacity) during a stopover of 48 hours.

Allowing to transship a freight directly between two LNG tankers, thanks to its terminal’s two jetties, Elengy answers to a new demand from the LNG customers. Transshipment operations bring more flexibility to the LNG market.
