US adds more limitation to pesticide use to protect salmon

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced new limitations on the use of three organosphate pesticides to protect endangered and threatened salmon. According to the Environment News Service, the limitations will, from the early 2010, limit the use of chlorpyrifos, diazinon and malathion.
