China: Sanfu Shipyard Delivers Bulk Carrier ‘Indus Fortune’ to MSPL Company

On July 4, Taizhou SF Ship Engineering Co., Ltd held a grand naming, acceptance and delivery ceremony for 2#92500 DWT BC built for Indian MSPL company, at No.3 quay.

Among the participants attending the ceremony were leaders from Gaogang district and representatives from owner MSPL company, ABS classification society, SF shipyard, Construction bank Taizhou branch etc. Mr Yang Yifeng, president of shipyard, Mr Rahul Baldota, CEO of MSPL company and Mr Hanya, vice governor of Gaogang district, addressed the ceremony one by one.

President of SF shipyard Ms Qi Junhong being invited to be god mother to name the vessel “Indus Fortune” wishes the vessel as well as all who will sail on her a safe journey. No.2 92500 DWT BC is the second one among 4 sister vessels being built for MSPL by Sanfu shipyard. Its overall length is 230m, moulded breath is 38m, and moulded depth is 20.7m . It was strictly built according to ABS rules.
