AAL delivers LNG tanks to Port of San Diego

Austral Asia Line (AAL) has delivered and discharged one of the heaviest pieces of cargo carried on its Pacific Service to date.

Two LNG tanks weighing 380 tons each and a main engine weighing 384 tons were discharged in the Port of San Diego. The two LNG tanks measured around 26 meters in length and 8.3 meters in width while the heavier main engine piece was around 12 meters long and 5 meters wide.

The cargo was loaded on board AAL’s A-Class vessel AAL Singapore in Masan, South Korea in the middle of June.
