Before joining Adriatic LNG, Tim worked as the marine operations manager at ExxonMobil’s gas liquefaction plant in Papua New Guinea.

He brings almost 40 years’ experience in the marine and oil and gas sectors, starting his career in the Merchant navy, Adriatic LNG said in its statement on Tuesday.

After joining ExxonMobil, he held positions of increasing responsibility, working in Africa, Far East, Oceania, and USA.

Operating since October 2009, the Adriatic LNG terminal imports the chilled fuel from Qatar, Egypt, Trinidad and Tobago, Equatorial Guinea, Norway, Nigeria and the United States.

With a regasification capacity of 8 billion cubic meters per year (equal to half the national LNG import capacity), the terminal covers more than 10 percent of national gas consumption.
