Afai Satisfied with 2012 Results, Aims for Further Development

Afai Southern Shipyard held the first board meeting of 2013, on May 29th.  Chairman of the board, Mr. Dingnong presided over the meeting. The Vice Chairman of the board Mr. Sun Dongsheng, and board directors, Mr. Ye Xiaojian, Mr. Wu Mingyi, Mr. Cao Yalong, and Mr. Qiu Shuquan attended the meeting, while the General Accountant of CIC, Mr. Zhou Limin and other representatives from the shareholders as well as members of Afai’s leadership attended the meeting as observers.

The meeting included deliberation and voting through the General Manager’s Work Report of 2013, along with Report Regarding the financial budget and statement followed by other  six reports.

The Board members fully approved the work results of Afai in 2012, and expressed satisfaction to the leadership’s work. Meanwhile the Board  pointed out that Afai should have wider view to face the opportunities of the market and create good brand to speed up the development of the enterprise. In addition, the shipyard should regulate the management to promote safety and quality, innovate the mechanism to strengthen team building, in addition to adopting measures to prevent foreign exchange rate risks in order to be able to give a better return to the shareholders.
