Maersk Oil takes Alfa Laval pumping systems for North Sea platform

Swedish international company Alfa Laval has won an order to supply its Framo pumping systems for Maersk Oil’s platform in the UK.

The company said the order has a value of approximately SEK 100 million ($11.8 million) with delivery scheduled for 2016.

Alfa Laval will deliver fire water pumping systems for an oil platform operated by Maersk Oil which is located outside Aberdeen in the North Sea.

Lars Renström, president and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group says: “I am pleased to announce this large order for our Framo pumping systems to one of the major players in the offshore oil and gas industry.

“The Framo product range has broadened our portfolio of reliable products well-suited for the demanding applications in the oil and gas industry.”
