MPI Adventure jack-up vessel has been working for eleven months to install forty Areva M5000-116 wind turbines, with a total capacity of 200 MW.

“Now, the only thing missing is the test operation that will be accommodated by DolWin alpha converter platform and the grid operator TenneT can carry out the main connection,” explained Klaus Horstick, Managing Director of Trianel Windkraftwerk Borkum GmbH & Co. KG.

“The Trianel Windpark Borkum is the first offshore wind farm which was realized exclusively with participation of public utilities and regional energy providers, under the leadership of Trianel,” said Horstick.
