Allseas Marine Gains MRM Training Provider Status
Allseas Marine S.A. has met licensing requirements and been granted Maritime Resource Management (MRM) training provider status by the Swedish Club Academy.
“As a licensed training providers we shall contribute to the further development of the Maritime Resource Management course through sharing of broad experiences and expertise,” the company said in a press release.
MRM is a human factors training programme in maritime industry. The MRM course is designed to minimise the risk of incidents by encouraging safe and responsible behaviour. It aims to foster positive attitudes favouring good personal communication, excellence in leadership skills and compliance with operating procedures.
MRM is ideal for deck and engineering officers, together with maritime pilots and shore-based personnel. The objective is to ensure that sound resource management practices underpin everyday operations.
