AMP Trillium opens Canton CNG station

AMP Trillium, the joint venture between ampCNG and Trillium CNG, opened its public access compressed natural gas station in the city of Canton, Ohio.

The station is located at 4011 16th SW and will serve Frito-Lay North America, the station’s anchor tenant.

Frito-Lay North America selected Trillium CNG as a station partner to build public fueling infrastructure to serve its fleet of heavy-duty, Class 8 CNG tractor trailers. Frito Lay has one of the largest CNG Fleets in the U.S.

Directly off US 30/US 65 and across from Frito-Lay North America’s Canton, Ohio plant, the amp Trillium station will allow three Class-8 trucks to fuel simultaneously at 10-12 GGE per minute, a fueling rate made possible by Trillium CNG’s fast-fill proprietary hydraulic intensifier technology.
