Another Qatari LNG Cargo on Way to UK

The Shagra LNG carrier, with a capacity of 266,000 cubic metres, is due to arrive in the UK’s South Hook terminal on June 18, port data shows.

This is the second cargo that is scheduled to arrive at the South Hook terminal in the next seven days and they are both sailing from Ras Laffan in Qatar.

The South Hook LNG terminal, a part of the Qatargas 2 integrated Value Chain, is one of the largest LNG re-gasification terminals in Europe.

The terminal provides the UK with a significant proportion of its natural gas requirements.
