Apollo Strengthens Team

Aberdeen-based Apollo has made two senior appointments to its Drilling and Marine and Subsea business units. 

Allan Grindlay and Nigel Robinson have joined Apollo’s team as it prepares itself for further growth. Grindlay will head Apollo’s Drilling division and Robinson is to lead Apollo’s Marine and Subsea business.

Grindlay has spent over 25 years managing rig operations across the world and the company believes his experience will allow it to add value to clients rig and drilling activities.

Robinson will focus is on consolidating Apollo’s successes in the marine, subsea and renewable sector and to drive the business forward.

It is also well represented in each phase of the offshore asset life cycle, from appraisal to development, operations and eventually decommissioning. Throughout there is a need for engineering-led marine and subsea solutions – which is a great opportunity for Apollo.
