Apply said earlier this week that it would provide engineering and management services along with subcontractors in supporting DNO with their activities on the NCS.

These services include general project management support, topside facilities, subsea umbilical riser flowline (SURF), subsea production system (SPS), drilling, wells, subsurface, and decommissioning.

The company added that typical work would relate to early phase and FEED studies, gap analyses, verification work, and PDO support for developing fields and projects.

To deliver the full specter of services, Apply engaged with subcontractors that are complementary to the core business of the company. The subcontractor group includes IKM Ocean Design, Ross Offshore, and Genesis.

Apply CEO, Karsten Gudmundset, said: “This award strengthens the long-term strategy of Apply to grow engineering and management services within early phase involvement for new operators on the NCS. Apply and the subcontractor group provide independent expertise adding significant value to DNO in the future.”

It is worth reminding that Apply won a pair of contracts during the summer from Equinor and Odfjell Drilling.

Namely, Equinor awarded Apply a contract to establish and update system descriptions and associated system drawings for the Njord field in the Norwegian Sea, while Odfjell awarded a study contract to the company for upgrading the intervention and completion unit’s circulation and material handling system on Mariner A platform in the UK.
