Aqualis CFO resigns

Norwegian marine and engineering consultancy, Aqualis ASA, announced December 16 that Christian Opsahl resigned from the position as CFO of Aqualis.

The company’s statement only says that Opsahl resigned in order to pursue interests outside the company.

According to Aqualis, Opsahl’s last day of employment will be December 31, but he will be available to provide support to the company during the interim phase until a new CFO is in place.

The company focuses on the shallow and deep-water offshore segments of the oil & gas and renewables industries. In their Q3 report issued October 27, the company reported revenues of $9.5 million. EBIT was negative $1.4 million.

In the same report, Aqualis further said it opened three new offices in the third quarter 2015  and acquired a 49.9% ownership stake in Adler Solar.

The company is now searching for a new chief financial officer.
