Aqualis Offshore to open office in South Korea

Offshore marine and engineering consultancy Aqualis Offshore has announced it will be opening an office in Busan, South Korea.

“Over the past few months we have received an increasing number of work requests from oil services companies, rig operators and the numerous offshore construction yards in South Korea. It is therefore a logical expansion of our network to set up an office here now, so that we are able to provide the best possible local support to our clients,” says Phil Lenox, Director – Asia Pacific, Aqualis Offshore.

Aqualis Offshore said the Busan office will offer its full range of services with support from other group offices, but with initial focus on dynamic positioning consultancy, transportation and installation, marine warranty and construction supervision.

The company has also said that Gang-Yeoung Jeong has been appointed as general manager of the company’s office in Busan.

South Korea is the 11th country Aqualis Offshore enters after the company was established in 2013.
