Arctic Technology Conference Fugro Receives Spotlight on Arctic Technology Awards

The company is being recognised for its integrated 3D iceberg mapping technique, which defines complex iceberg properties using high precision subsea imaging systems and above-water imaging techniques. The other award is for Fugro’s GeoSAR sea ice mapping system which is mounted on an aircraft to acquire sea ice data over very large areas.

”These awards are a great achievement and honour,” said Edward Saade, Fugro’s regional survey director for the Americas. ”Fugro is committed to supporting safe and sustainable Arctic oil and gas operations. The technologies being highlighted by ATC reinforce that commitment and our ability to generate positive outcomes during offshore exploration, development and production.”
