Argentina: Enarsa Buys LNG Cargoes for Bahia Blanca, Escobar

Argentina’s Enarsa awarded close to 50 liquefied natural gas cargoes for 2012 delivery, Argus media reported.

Enarsa agreed to pay around $11/mn for 23, 138,000 m³ cargoes to be delivered to the Bahia Blanca Terminal and $12-13/mn Btu for Escobar deliveries.

Recently, the company launched an international tender for the delivery of more than 80 cargoes of LNG in 2012.

Argentina has two LNG import terminals and plans to build two more.
