Argentina set to receive LNG cargo from Trinidad

Trinidad and Tobago shipped a liquefied natural gas cargo from the Point Fortin facility to Argentina on Saturday.

The cargo is being carried by the 126,000 cbm LNG Libra, and it is expected to arrive at the Recalada port on August 24, shipping data reveals.

Atlantic LNG, the operator of Trinidad’s only liquefaction plant, produces LNG from natural gas delivered from fields in and around Trinidad and Tobago.

The four-train liquefaction facility located at Point Fortin on the southwest coast of Trinidad is the sixth largest LNG producer in the world, and the largest such producer in the Western Hemisphere.
