Atlantic Offshore waves goodbye to Ocean Searcher

Atlantic Offshore has reported that MRV Ocean Searcher has been sold.

The company said that the vessel was sold to Denmark for recycling.

Ocean Searcher is a multi-purpose offshore support vessel (Anchor handling Tug/Supply/Standby/Rescue) with a gross tonnage of 1472 t.

It was built in 1975 and had the capacity to accommodate 16 people.

“She has served us well for many years, and was the frontrunner for newbuilding Ocean Osprey at the Shell UK operated Gannet field,” the company said in the release.
