McCarroll Resigns After Only a Week in ATP Oil & Gas

ATP Oil & Gas Corporation, an international offshore oil and gas development and production company with operations in the Gulf of Mexico, Mediterranean Sea and the North Sea, 0n June 1, 2012, announced that Matt McCarroll replaced T. Paul Bulmahn as Chief Executive Officer of the company.

However, as of Thursday June 7, 2012, the company announced that it was unable to reach a mutually agreeable employment agreement with McCarroll and effective June 7 he has submitted his resignation.

In conjunction with his resignation, the previously announced purchase of shares from the company by Mr. McCarroll mentioned in the June 1, 2012 press release was rescinded.

McCarroll was Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dynamic Offshore Resources, LLC, a private company that focused on acquiring and developing properties in the Gulf of Mexico. He guided the recent sale of Dynamic Offshore Resources to SandRidge Energy for $1.3 billion.
