The company received the award for international trade, recognising significant success in global markets.

With the support of local partners, the firm now exports to over 16 countries, across all the major oil and gas producing regions of the world, and has enjoyed an increase of more than 100 per cent in export earnings in the last three years.

Paddy Collins, Aubin’s Chief Executive, said: “At Aubin, we are driven by our customers’ requirements. We have developed strong international partnerships over the years and more than 90 per cent of our business is with repeat customers. A number of our international customers have been with us for more than 25 years.

Around a quarter of our staff work on research and development projects, a significant investment for a company of our size, and our customers appreciate that we are committing considerable resources to provide cost effective solutions for their operational challenges.”

Aubin, with subsidiaries in Dubai and Houston has it’s biggest overseas market in the Middle East, accounting for 45 per cent of sales.

“We are delighted to receive a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category. It is further testament to our team and our strive for excellence in oil and gas solutions both in the UK and globally,” said Collins.
