Australia - Port of Cairns Welcomes Costa neoRomantica

The Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal will welcome the Cruise Ship Costa neoRomantica for the first time on Wednesday 5 December 2012. Costa neoRomantica with approximately 1,204 passengers and crew on board is scheduled to dock in the Port of Cairns at 0830 and depart late on Wednesday around midnight.

This will be the 36 th cruise ship to visit this year and the 5 th maiden visit.

The cruise ship industry is vitally important to Cairns and Queensland contributing significant funds to the local economy and supporting employment. The Cairns Shipping Development Project aimed at improving access to the Port of Cairns will ensure Cairns is well positioned to capitalize on the booming global cruise industry and remains a premier cruise destination in Queensland.
