Australia: TSmarine Acquires Subsea Construction Vessel HAVILA PHOENIX

TSmarine, a subsea oil and gas construction service provider, is expanding its fleet following the recent signing of its third vessel, the 110-metre DP2 subsea construction vessel ‘Havila Phoenix’.

The addition of the vessel indicates an upturn in the industry, increasing the company’s services across the market, according to Ian Rowson, Regional Sales Manager for TSmarine.

Available from the middle of this year, the larger more powerful vessel provides greater stability and station keeping capabilities, reducing weather downtime for offshore operations and making it better suited for harsh weather operations.

“The ‘Phoenix’ offers increased capability and flexibility. The 250 tonne deck crane is a significant increase while the secondary 20 tonne deck crane adds flexibility during offshore work,” said Mr. Rowson.

TSMarine is a specialist marine and subsea operations service provider.
