Baker Hughes: International Offshore Rigs in June Up by 32

Baker Hughes Incorporated announced today that the international rig count for June 2013 was 1,333, up 50 from the 1,283 counted in May 2013, and up 48 from the 1,285 counted in June 2012. The international offshore rig count for June 2013 was 337, up 10 from the 327 counted in May 2013, and up 32 from the 305 counted in June 2012.

The average U.S. rig count for June 2013 was 1,761, down 6 from the 1,767 counted in May 2013, and down 211 from the 1,972 counted in June 2012. The average Canadian rig count for June 2013 was 183, up 55 from the 128 counted in May 2013, and down 44 from the 227 counted in June 2012.

The worldwide rig count for June 2013 was 3,277, up 99 from the 3,178 counted in May 2013, and down 207 from the 3,484 counted in June 2012.
