BAM Clough clinches Woodside contract

Australia-based engineering company Clough said that LNG player Woodside has awarded the BAM Clough joint venture the marine installation services contract for the Karratha gas plant life extension project.

The contract involves project management and installation engineering works associated with replacing existing equipment on two berths, including LNG and LPG marine loading arms, gangways and dolphin fenders, with an option to provide marine equipment and resources to undertake the site works, Clough said in a statement on Monday.

The Karratha gas plant facilities include five LNG processing trains, two domestic gas trains, six condensate stabilisation units, three LPG fractionation units as well as storage and loading facilities for LNG, LPG and condensate.

The facility, which is a part of the NWS project, is located 1260 kilometres north of Perth, Western Australia and covers about 200 hectares.

BAM Clough is a 50/50 joint venture between Clough and Dutch company BAM International.
