Bechtel employs 400 apprentices on Curtis Island LNG projects

Bechtel said the construction team on its three LNG projects developed on Curtis Island near Gladstone, Australia reached another milestone.

Through its training program, Bechtel has employed more than 400 apprentices, marking one of the largest single intakes of apprentices in Australia’s history, the company’s Gladstone unit said in a statement.

Curtis Island projects remain in government’s focus as well, as it commits to create more job opportunities for locals, as stated by senator Eric Abetz.
