BG Provides QCLNG Update (VIDEO)

BG Group of UK posted a video update of the company’s QCLNG project being built on Curtis Island in Australia.

Queensland Curtis LNG is one of Australia’s largest capital infrastructure projects, involving US$20.4 billion of investment from 2010-14.

On completion, the plant will comprise:

• Two LNG production units – known as trains – each able to produce more than four million tonnes of LNG a year.
• Two storage tanks each able to hold about 140,000 m³ of LNG.
• A marine facility for passenger and equipment transportation between the mainland and Curtis Island.
• Marine loading facilities for LNG cargoes.
