Bilfinger Salamis opens Southern North Sea office

Oil and gas services contractor Bilfinger Salamis UK announced December 23 that it opened a base in Great Yarmouth with the aim of improving Southern North Sea clients support.

The company, which provides integrated, multi-disciplined support services and maintenance solutions for the energy, petrochemical, industrial and utilities sectors, has moved its operational staff from its Lowestoft base to the newly refurbished Havenbridge House, and its distribution and warehouse facility to Bressay House at the Outer Harbour.

The Aberdeen-based company, member of the Bilfinger group, originally operated from a base in Great Yarmouth from 1981 to 1997, before moving to a larger facility on Pinbush Road in Lowestoft.

Managing director Graham Hayward commented: “I very much look forward to welcoming clients to our new operating base in Great Yarmouth. Alongside our new logistics facility, the move puts our business close to both our customer offices and the East Anglian marine bases, delivering significant transport efficiencies for us and our clients.“
