Bill Renz named General Manager of Gain Clean Fuel

U.S. Venture said it has promoted Bill Renz to General Manager for its newly-created U.S. Gain division which manages the GAIN Clean Fuel compressed natural gas brand.

Prior to becoming its own division, GAIN Clean Fuel was managed by U.S. Oil, another unit of U.S. Venture.

In his new role, Renz will continue to focus on U.S. Gain’s expansion efforts across North America. He will provide strategic oversight to U.S. Gain’s plans to build and operate more than 100 GAIN stations within the next two years and is responsible for overseeing U.S. Gain’s sales, operations and engineering functions, the company said in a statement.

Renz has worked for U.S. Venture since 2012 and led their efforts to establish the GAIN Clean Fuel brand. There are currently 39 GAIN Clean Fuel stations operating or currently under construction throughout the U.S.

Renz is a 2002 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a master’s degree in manufacturing systems engineering, and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering. He previously worked for Jacobus Energy and the Kohler Company.
