A new technique for spool piece/jumper metrology using the BV5000, 3D Mechanical Scanning Sonar from BlueView Technologies, is the subject of an evening meeting of the Hydrographic Society in Scotland to be held on Wednesday, February 29th.

Presenters; Pieter Jansen, of Talisman, Trevor Pugh of Technip, and Greg Hammond of Starnet Geomatics will provide an overview of this new technique and provide feedback on a number of recent projects which utilized the BV5000 toolset as part of the subsea metrology solution.
