BOURBON to Participate in 2011 Clic&Sea Maritime Recruitment Fair, Paris (France)

On Thursday February 3, 2011, for the fourth consecutive year, BOURBON will be one of the key exhibitors at the Clic&Sea “Métiers de la Mer” recruitment fair, to be held in Paris (France). Clic&Sea is a valuable forum where French professionals and students from the maritime world can meet, talk, share information and discuss recruitment.

BOURBON’s participation in this fair is a logical step for the recruitment needs of the “BOURBON 2015 – Leadership Strategy” plan, which involves hiring 5,000 new employees.

“We appreciate having the opportunity to meet future candidates,” says Serge Monnot, Crew Manager at Bourbon Offshore Surf, the French subsidiary of the Group with 1,160 seamen. “BOURBON clearly needs to have a presence at such an important fair, but at the same time, it gives us the chance to measure the Group’s appeal… Every year, our stand is literally bombarded as soon as the doors open – that says a lot for BOURBON’s reputation which is principally conveyed by word of mouth. The seagoing personnel are very keen on the prospect of joining a leading group in offshore oil and gas marine services, which enables them to operate on modern vessels.”

So the date is set – February 3 – a day when people can meet up at BOURBON’s stand and where pilots, officers and trainees can find out about the posts available and the possible careers offered by the Group, offshore and onshore.
