Brazil: Petrobras Finds Oil Seep in Roncador Field

Petrobras announces that last Sunday afternoon, April 8, a submarine inspection found a seepage of oil droplets in the Roncador field seabed, located 120 kilometers off the coast of Rio de Janeiro and approximately 500 meters away from the Frade field border line.

No oil slick was seen on the surface of the sea. A sample of the oil lets was collected for analysis and to determine their origin.

The situation has been reported to the competent authorities.
