CB&I Shareholders Approve Shaw Group Acquisition, USA

CB&I announced that at the Company’s special meeting of shareholders held on December 18, 2012, CB&I shareholders approved the proposal related to the acquisition of Shaw Group by CB&I.

The certified results indicate that over 90% of the shares voting at the special meeting were voted in favor of the acquisition proposal.

A majority of the acquisition’s closing conditions have been met and CB&I expects the transaction to close in the first quarter 2013, subject to the satisfaction of remaining conditions.
