Chengxi Shipyard: Eighth Successful Delivery This Year, China

On the afternoon of Oct.25, 2012, the No.3 49.000 DWT Handymax bulker was successfully named and delivered by Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd for Shanghai Time Shipping Co., Ltd, which was the eighth successful delivery of the company this year.

Mr. Yan Zhe, General Manager of Shanghai Time Shipping Co., Ltd, Mr. Zhang Maoyi, Secretary of Party Committee, Ms. Zhang Xiaojun, Manager of Management Department in Huaneng Power International Inc, Mr. Zhou Shengxian, Jiangyin Office Manager of China Classification Society, Mr. Xu Jian, Genaral manager of No.1 Ship Export Department of CSTC, Mr. Hu Jingen, Chairman & Secretary of the Party Committee, Mr. Wang Yongliang, President & other heads from Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd and other honored guests participated in the naming & delivery ceremony which was presided over by Mr. Cao Jiwei, Vice president of Chengxi.

Construction on the third 49.000 DWT vessels, built by Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd for Shanghai Time Shipping Co. and registered in CCS and qualified for the PSPC standards, started last Dec and was successfully completed under the common efforts from the owners, the surveyors and shipyard. They overcame numerous difficulties such as the labor shortage in the Spring Festival and the adverse influence of the continuous rain after the festival.

Finally, Ms Zhang Xiaojun, Manager of Management Department in Huaneng Power International Inc, named the new vessel into “YIN HAO” and cut the ribbon, indicating the successful completion of the naming & delivery ceremony.
