Chile to Get LNG Cargo from Trinidad

Chile’s Quintero LNG terminal is due to receive a liquefied natural gas cargo from Trinidad and Tobago on April 8, according to shipping data.

The cargo is being hauled by the 145,000 cbm Methane Jane Elizabeth, which departed from the Point Fortin terminal on Saturday.

The Quintero terminal, which is situated 155km northwest of Santiago, has an overall annual supply capacity of 2.5 million tons of LNG.

GNL Quintero’s shareholders are: Terminal de Valparaíso (40%), ENAP (20%), Endesa Chile (20%) and Metrogas (20%).
