China: Boluomiao Shipyard Delivers Repaired Vessel DONG FANG YONG SHI 2

The vessel “DONG FANG YONG SHI 2” was successfully repaired and redelivered to ship-owner. The shipyard completely solved the technical problems of the port side pitch system and reveled the strong technical power once again.

The subject vessel is a multi-purpose vessel, has high technical machine equipments, it services with the offshore drilling platform towing, anti fire, cement instilling, water & materials supply and other tasks.

It is reported that the ship had been at other shipyards for repairing but had not completely solved the problems. After the ship into shipyard, the shipyard quickly established a research team to solve the problem. The team’s member included the chief of the shipyard and the technicians of relative departments. The team’s members went to the working spot many times for analysis, investigation, research, and “consultation”. They made a set of scientific program of the repair process with superb technology and rich experience. The pitch repair got good test result and met the technical requirements of the classification, and it meant the problem was thoroughly solved by the shipyard. The ship-owners were very satisfied with this repair service.
