China: Bulker MV Alessia Sets Sail from CIC Changxing

Bulker MV Alessia Sets Sail from CIC Changxing

The repair of M.V. Alessia undertaken recently by CIC Changxing Shipyard has been smoothly accomplished. With LOA of 180m and the moulded breadth of 30m, the vessel is a handy-size bulk carrier.

The main work scope was the paint inspection & treatment on the flat bottom of hull. The vessel is owned by a famous shipping company in Naples, Italy.

Continuous rainy weather made great impact on the repair work during her repair period. Under such a difficult condition, the shipyard performed perfect operations & management on the grit blasting and painting progress relying on the strong technical strength and excellent facilities.

Finally, the vessel set sail on time with the full effort of all related staff and the owner.
