China: Foton Inks LNG Bus Deal

Foton AUV has signed a deal with Shenzhen Shengshi Company to create a green transport consortium which will focus primarily on bus markets in Shenzhen and several cities in Hunan Province, aiming to sell 1000 LNG-powered buses in 2014.

“Both partners would integrate vehicle factories, energy companies and terminal customers together to build green transportation and promote green public transportation system of energy conservation and emission reduction in the country,” Foton said in a statement.
