China LNG to invest in infrastructure in Linyi

China LNG Group informed that it has signed a deal with Linyi Trade City Administrative Commission to promote the application of LNG businesses in Linyi, Shandong, China. 

Under the agreement, the company intends to establish an investment company with registered capital of RMB2 billion in Linyi.

The established company will then invest in construction of LNG refueling stations, charging cars, and central stations to provide filling services for industries and civilian users who are unable to access the city LNG pipeline network.

It will also invest in LNG transportation and distribution system, liquefaction plants, and 30 units of LNG refueling stations, according to China LNG’s statement.

China LNG also intends to establish a finance leasing company in Linyi to provide finance leasing services for LNG vehicles and equipment with preferential service terms. The total investment is expected to range from RMB 8 billion to RMB 50 billion.
