China: March LNG Imports Climb 34 Percent

China, the world’s biggest energy consumer, imported 1,126,532 of LNG in March, up 34 percent compared to a year earlier, customs data showed.

In January-March, cumulative LNG imports came to 3,249,239 mt, up 40.3% on year.

Most of the LNG supplies in March were shipped from Qatar, Australia and Indonesia.
