Qingdao Terminal Ready for Operation

On March 31, the cruise terminal project constructed by CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. was delivered for operation after passing the completion acceptance.

Located near Terminal 6 of Qingdao’s old port zone, the project involves a 150,000t cruise berth (designed to accommodate 225,000t cruises in terms of hydraulic structure and length). With a length of 490 meters, a territory depth of 95 meters, a water depth of -13.5 meters and a designed annual through capacity of 600,000 person times, the berth can accommodate the world’s largest 225,000t cruises “Oasis of the Seas” and “Allure of the Seas” all day long.

The buildup of the terminal marks Qingdao has officially owned a berth for large cruises and is of positive significance to promoting Qingdao’s tourist, economic and social development.
