RHSI Delivers Oman Shipping’s First VLOC

On August 20, China Rongsheng Heavy Industries delivered Oman Shipping’s first 380,000 DWT class VLOC.

The vessel, namely VALE LIWA, is the fourth VLOC delivered by the Group following VALE CHINA, VALE DONGJIAKOU and VALE DALIAN.

The main engine of VALE LIWA is self-built by China Rongsheng, and which also represents the largest power output built by marine engine manufacturers. With its measures of 360 meters in length, 65 meters in breadth and 30.4 meters in depth, 380,000 DWT class VLOC is not only the ever largest dry bulk carrier built by Chinese shipbuilders, but also demonstrate the leading dry bulk vessels building technology within the global shipbuilding market.
