China: Yuexin Holds Keel-Laying Ceremony for 37m ASD TUG

Recently a keel-laying ceremony for 37m ASD TUG Vessel YX3182/83 built by Yuexin for Crude Oil Pineline of Southeast Asia Co.,Ltd was held in Yuexin shipyard. Applying Yuexin’s own design, the vessel measures 37m in length with a molded breadth of 10.6m，a molded depth of 4.8m and the designed draught is 3.5m.

The designed bollard pull reaches 62T and the astern is 56T. Being capable of carrying 12 men, YX3182/83 can load 90M3 fuel oil disposable and 40m3 fresh water, With deck area of 50 m3, YX3182/83 was equipped with two Yanma 2500PS main engines, Schottel rudder propellers and two 36KVA generator sets.

Being rigorous attitude to every detail, Yuexin will deliver with high quality on time . The series ships will work after delivery in Kyaunkpyu Island on west coast of Burma on May,2013. It’s the first time Yuexin cooperated with Crude Oil Pineline of Southeast Asia Co.,Ltd, which makes an important step to develop the South and East Asia.

Yuexin Shipbuilding Company Limited, established in the year 2000, located in the south gate of China. The predecessor of the company was Guangzhou Panyu Tanzhou dockyard which boasted the history of more than 30 years in shipbuilding. Yuexin Shipbuilding covers a total area about 100,000 square meters. It possesses 2 semienclosed slipways,4 slipways with tracks,2 dry docks with shelter and 3 floating docks. Besides, it also possesses steel plate pretreatment production line, workshops of steel structure fabrication, block fabrication, piping and machinery as well as other equipments including automatic welding, CNC cutting, plate-bending machine, frame-bending machine, plate-shearing machine, shop blasting device, etc. Yuexin Shipbuilding is an enterprise of Class Three National Qualifications, Class A Design Qualification of the shipbuilding business in Guangdong Province. So far, Yuexin has delivered more than 60 vessels since it was founded. The company specializes in building series offshore work vessels from 4000 to 16000 horsepower, including DP2 Support/Maintenance Vessel, Multi-purpose Utility Vessels,Anchor Handling Tug/Supply Vessel,ASD Tug and etc.
