CMA CGM Reopens Regular Service from Barcelona to Djen Djen

French container shipping company CMA CGM NAF Lines is relaunching a regular service from Barcelona, Spain, to Djen Djen, Algeria, within its EURONAF service, effective immediately.

First departure from ETS Barcelona was scheduled for July 15, with an estimated time of arrival to Djen Djen on July 19.

The company has deployed a 9,981 gross ton vessel Vega Omikron on the route.

CMA CGM said that Djen Djen is an alternative destination for Bejaia port, Algeria, which has been facing severe congestion for more than one month. Before getting a berth, ships have been waiting from ten to 30 days, according to CMA CGM.

Located 100 km eastward from Bejaia, Djen Djen is a congestion-free port.
