COSL: NH7 Rig En Route to South China Sea

China Oilfield Services Limited has announced that its newly chartered semi-submersible drilling rig NH7 had been delivered in Shenzhou on 15 March 2013 following a completion of restorative maintenance works.

The rig is now being towed to China South Sea for provision of drilling services to its client on a 5-year charter deal.

Built in 1997, this second-generation drilling rig is able to operate at water depths of 1,000 feet and perform drilling up to a maximum depth of 25,000 feet.
