Concerns Raise over Crown Bay Dredging (USVI)

Members of the Virgin Islands Port Authority board of directors have begun discussions over a plan for a capital dredging project in Crown Bay, reports virginislandsdailynews.com.

I’m telling you I really see a problem finishing this job on the schedule the cruise line wants. You’re going to have to step up the pace in a big, big way,” said board member Gordon Finch to Port Authority staff.

This expansion project includes dredging of the area north of the pier in Crown Bay by about four feet to accommodate additional cruise ships, according to stcroixsource.com.
