CWind Wins 20-Year O&M Deal for Westermost Rough OWF

TC Westermost Rough OFTO Limited has appointed CWind to maintain offshore and onshore assets at the Westermost Rough offshore wind farm.

Timed to coincide with the handover of the OFTO assets to TC Westermost Rough OFTO Limited, the company has signed up CWind to maintain the mechanical and electrical systems of both the offshore and onshore substations, as well as the routine inspections of the onshore cables for the 210 MW project.

The contract covers all routine inspection, diagnostics and planned maintenance work, as well as a first response service and offshore transport, for a period of 20 years commencing in February 2016.

The combination of technical capability and cost-effective logistics assets was a strong factor in our selection. The fact that they already have an established operations in Grimsby and recent experience at Westermost Rough, presented an additional benefit.”
